The base question here was: how to track people in a way that equalises opportunities for employment. The goal was to have some sort of league that would make the CV a quantified assessment. To scope this, I first created some high-level wireframes for the platform, integrating some theory on marketplaces, and then determined key data categories. From there I looked at existing data and proposed an augmented recruitment process that began to refine and consolidate the data collection.
The information base was Notion, mapping done on Figma, data prototypes on G-Suite using App-Sheet & Big Query. See here: ‣
The task was to create a Theory of Change that could be used for incremental measurement of the impact of the project. I had to start with a literature review to find a working definition of Play and look at methodologies previously used. After finding definitions and sources for key terms, I integrated theoretical models with the current Theory of change to create this framework—which could be used to create new products and inform the business model. Documentation was done on Google Docs and Diagramming on Miro.
When the LEGO project was cancelled, we had to process years worth of assets in the handover of IP. Using my knowledge management system developed in Google Docs, I did consolidated research on the contract implications, designed a workflow for sorting through and logging the work, and then built a guided automation on Asana to move assets through the process of separating between company IP and client IP. This was also pre-work for a future asset register that was filterable, searchable, and easier to navigate than nested-folder hell.
I created a product idea for a new business that fit with the event based client’s needs for a recurring revenue stream. The product design was completed using a mix of Inkscape and Canva. From there I contacted suppliers for quotes to cost the product, and did market research on alternatives and competitors. I built a spreadsheet for product strategy that included a pricing model which included factors for roll-out and profit sharing. The financial modelling and the documentation was done in G-Suite.
The product was not launched because the client failed to secure capital for upfront costs.
When the LEGO project got cancelled, the business had to reconfigure. To this end, I put together a Business Analysis deck that combined some theory with key differentiators of the business to suggest a business model strategy based on the Australian Market. Also, as the only person in the new "Measurement Department", I developed a process and workflow on Asana, and some key products that could be pitched to future clients, rather than simply doing case studies (or similar) after a project.
